Geron Corporation seeks a Senior Director of Revenue and Cost Accounting to scale processes and strengthen internal controls for growth. The role will involve periodic meetings at the Parsippany, NJ headquarters and reports to the VP, Finance, Controller, and CAO.

The position requires extensive ASC 606, GTN, and inventory costing expertise within a biotechnology setting, with expectations for leadership and cross-functional collaboration across Accounting, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on revenue recognition and inventory costing.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end revenue accounting across product sales, licensing, and collaborations.
• Ensure ASC 606 and GTN accuracy across streams.
• Oversee GTN estimates, rebates, allowances, and related costs.
• Manage external G2N consultants and challenge assumptions.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for data inputs and reporting outputs.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual revenue close processes and analytics.
• Oversee inventory accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) and COGS close.
