This role will own commission processing, compensation planning, modeling, and tooling across all eligible functions including SDR, Sales, Customer Success, Channel, and Sales Engineering.

You will partner closely with Finance, Sales Leadership, and RevOps to ensure our compensation programs are accurate, aligned to strategy, and drive the right behaviors. This is a high‑impact role that blends analytical rigor, operational excellence, and cross‑functional partnership.

What You’ll Do
Compensation Administration
  • Own monthly and quarterly commission processing for all GTM teams (SDR, AEs, CSMs, Channel, SEs, etc.)
  • Maintain compensation calculations, audits, adjustments, and payment accuracy
  • Manage dispute resolution, rep inquiries, and communication of compensation outcomes
  • Own and maintain compensation documentation (SPIFs, exceptions, plan addendums, etc.)
Compensation Strategy & Planning
  • Support the design of annual compensation plans in partnership with RevOps, Finance, and Sales leadership
  • Conduct benchmarking and evaluate plan effectiveness, recommending improvements tied to strategic goals
  • Support FY planning (sales capacity build, quota modeling, cost of sale analysis)
Tools, Systems & Data Ownership
  • Own the GTM compensation tech stack (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, Everstage, SPIFF or internal tools)
  • Partner with RevOps Systems and Finance on integration with Salesforce and Netsuite
  • Ensure data integrity, logic accuracy, and reliable automation
  • Build workflows and automations to reduce manual workload
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner with Finance on accruals, compensation budget forecasting, and reconciliation
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to ensure plans support motivation, fairness, and productivity
  • Provide compensation modeling and insights to executive leadership
  • Train managers and reps on compensation components, mechanics, and changes
What You Bring
  • 3–7+ years in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, or related fields
  • Hands‑on experience with commission tools (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Varicent, Everstage, SPIFF or similar)
  • Strong Sheets / Excel modeling skills and comfort with scenario analysis
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and GTM performance data
  • A structured, analytical approach with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and field teams
  • Ability to translate complex compensation mechanics into simple explanations
  • Experience at a high‑growth SaaS company
  • Experience owning comp programs across multiple GTM roles (SDR, AE, CS, Channel, SE)
  • Experience partnering with Finance on budgeting and forecasting
  • Exposure to sales capacity modeling, quota setting, or RevOps planning
  • Prior experience selecting or implementing compensation tools
Why Doppel
  • A fast‑scaling company where you’ll own a critical business function from day one
  • Ability to influence GTM strategy and compensation design at the executive level
  • High visibility role with direct impact on revenue performance and cost of sale
  • Collaborative culture across RevOps, Finance, and Sales
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits
