The Department of Revenue's Audit Division in Washington State is seeking a Revenue Auditor 2 or In-Training. This role favors detail-oriented, numbers-focused professionals who excel at complex analysis, technical writing, and educating taxpayers on tax laws.

You will travel within a designated region to observe operations, review records, and determine tax liability. You will work autonomously yet collaborate with a skilled team, participate in training, and contribute to audits across

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of professional accounting/auditing experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to travel within designated region.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Washington excise tax laws.
