Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and 10-key adding machines.
• Ability to communicate with staff, vendors and interpret written, oral instructions.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills; able to interact with management.
• Must work extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducts financial audits as assigned; documents and reports findings.
• Assists in the preparation of the operating report from revenue centers and other accounting areas.
• Interacts with regulatory agencies, auditors and management as assigned.
• Prepares documents for off-site storage.
• Maintains confidentiality and signs confidentiality agreement.
• Promotes positive relations and maintains a safe work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
