Terrible’s is seeking a detail-oriented Audit Clerk to join our accounting team in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will audit daily transactions, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close using POS and accounting systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of auditing experience, and strong Excel skills. Excellent communication and flexibility to work overtime are essential.

• Strong work ethic and flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet deadlines.

Job Summary:

Terrible’s is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, solid communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing daily audits, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities using various POS and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily audits for convenience stores and car wash operations using various POS systems
• Prepare financial reconciliations and investigate variances as assigned
• Assist with the month-end closing process, including research and correcting entries in PDI
• Use accounting software, web tools, and Excel spreadsheets for audit tasks
• Compose and send clear, concise emails regarding audit issues or discrepancies

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Applicants must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The role requires regular standing, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. The incumbent must also be able to perform duties in varying work conditions, such as confined spaces.
