Job summary

Budgetutah is seeking a Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Management team in Salt Lake City. You will analyze pricing, monitor fleet availability, and prepare reports that communicate business trends and performance.

You will work with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools to support pricing decisions and collaborate with teammates on revenue initiatives. This on-site role requires relocation to the Salt Lake City area if not local.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Analytics, or related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience may also be considered.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, sorting, and formatting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Management team. This role is designed for candidates with foundational analytical skills who are ready to develop their expertise in revenue management. Whether you're beginning your career or have experience in a related analytical role, we'd like to hear from you.

Working alongside experienced team members, you'll help support pricing and fleet availability decisions across multiple markets and vehicle classes. You'll analyze data, prepare reports, monitor market trends, and contribute to pricing strategies that help optimize business performance.

This is an on-site position located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Remote work is not available. Candidates must be able to work on-site and relocate to the Salt Lake City area at their own expense if not currently local.

Schedule

This position is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during peak business periods or when business needs require pricing updates outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• Exposure to pricing, revenue management, forecasting, or business analytics.
• Experience in the car rental, travel, hospitality, or transportation industries.
