Job summary

Lennar seeks an Accounting Manager, Revenue to oversee revenue and cost of sales accounting, ensuring timely, accurate GAAP reporting across the business. This role partners with FP&A, Operations, and external auditors to strengthen controls and drive improvements.

Ideal candidates have a disciplined accounting background, experience with revenue recognition, and a mindset for automation and process optimization in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including public/large company exposure.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with revenue accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day revenue and cost of sales accounting activities under US GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for home sales, inventories, settlements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with variance analysis.
• Enhance accounting policies, controls, and SOX compliance.
• Partner with auditors and cross-functional teams; drive process improvements.
• Lead automation initiatives and AI-enabled tooling for reporting accuracy.
• Analyze financial data and report revenue trends and variances to management.
• Mentor senior and staff accountants; participate in special projects.
