Job summary

Arrowhead is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join its Finance & Accounting team at its Pasadena, CA headquarters. The role owns the company’s revenue framework and serves as the SME for ASC 606 revenue accounting, reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager and collaborating with the Controller.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial accounting experience with a significant focus on revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance as they apply to revenue recognition, receivables, contract assets and deferred revenue.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute complex monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex accounting guidance clearly to non‑finance and cross‑functional partners.
• Strong capability to lead change initiatives and manage multi‑phase projects.
• Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail under tight timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop SME understanding of partnership and customer contracts and lead ASC 606 revenue accounting reviews.
• Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies and SOX-compliant controls.
• Partner with FP&A to track labor hours and budget assumptions for revenue recognition.
• Perform close activities for order-to-cash including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with gross-to-net revenue accounting and third-party review support.
• Lead preparation of revenue disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
