Job summary

EVgo seeks a Revenue Accounting Manager in California to lead the revenue and accounts receivable teams, ensuring accurate US GAAP revenue recognition under ASC 606 and ASC 842. The role oversees monthly closes, reconciliations, and cross‑functional collaboration with Tax and other groups.

The successful candidate will bring CPA‑level insight, 6+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or corporate), and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required.
• CPA designation and public accounting experience highly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience required, preferably in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported in accordance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and internal controls.
• Manage the full end-to-end monthly financial close process for revenue and accounts receivable including management of aged receivables.
• Perform reviews to ensure outputs align with accounting and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to ensure ASC 606/842 compliance and timely invoicing.
• Reconcile revenue reports and GL accounts; investigate variances and resolve promptly.
