Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounting Manager focused on Healthcare revenue to lead revenue accounting operations across a multi-entity environment. This hands-on role collaborates with revenue cycle management and offshore teams in a fast-paced setting.

You will own monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, analyze results, and strengthen internal controls while partnering with leadership on reporting and compliance. Healthcare experience and ERP familiarity are preferred.

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, including leadership.
• Experience in complex multi-location or multi-entity organizations.
• Healthcare services or related industry experience.
• Experience with insurance receivables or revenue cycle operations.
• Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to lead through change and improve accounting processes.

• Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review and analyze financial results, including flux analysis and account reconciliations.
• Oversee revenue accounting activities and maintain strong internal controls.
• Partner with executive leadership to support financial reporting, compliance, and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management and operational teams on complex accounts receivable matters, reserves, and revenue recognition.
• Manage deferred revenue accounting and related reporting requirements.
• Lead a combination of onshore and offshore accounting personnel, providing coaching, accountability, and performance management.
• Drive process improvements, standardization efforts, and operational efficiencies across multiple systems and business units.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and work closely with external auditors and advisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Prior accounting experience within a complex, multi-location, or multi-entity organization.
• Healthcare services, dental services, physician practice management, or other healthcare-related industry experience.
• Experience with insurance receivables, third-party payor accounting, or revenue cycle operations.
• Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to lead through change and improve accounting processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with offshore/shared service accounting teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
