Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Revenue Accounting Manager to own the order-to-cash accounting for select products, including cell and gene therapies, and deliver timely financial reporting.

You will lead month-end close, manage relationships with customers and third-party providers, assess credit, drive process improvements and automation, and partner with Trade, Market Access and Finance to support forecasts and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience; life sciences preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with revenue accounting / order-to-cash.
• Ability to drive process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee order-to-cash accounting for select products.
• Manage accounting relationships with customers and third-party providers.
• Ensure timely collections and dispute resolution.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and credit limits.
• Lead revenue month-end close and related reporting.
• Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Market Access, and Trade teams.
• Develop analytics to evaluate monthly results and support forecasting.
• Identify and drive automation opportunities and policy improvements.
