Job summary

Mirantis, Inc. is seeking an experienced Revenue Recognition & Contract Accounting professional in Austin, TX. You will review customer contracts, determine revenue treatment under ASC 606, allocate transaction price, and analyze SaaS-related revenue arrangements.

You will perform month-end close activities, maintain revenue schedules, and partner with Sales, Billing, and Ops to improve processes and controls. Strong GAAP and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, with revenue accounting preferred.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 understanding.
• Experience reviewing contracts and translating terms to accounting conclusions.
• Experience with SaaS or software businesses preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and determine revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Analyze revenue arrangements and allocate transaction price.
• Prepare and maintain revenue schedules and documentation.
• Perform month-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies between Salesforce, NetSuite, and billing systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Billing, and Ops to optimize processes.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and support audits.
