Job summary

Excelitas is seeking a Revenue Accountant to support revenue recognition, financial reporting and compliance under ASC 606 and US GAAP. The role partners with Commercial, Legal and Operations to ensure accurate accounting of revenue transactions.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging automation to improve processes within a global revenue function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting, revenue accounting, or finance experience.
• Solid knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts to support ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Prepare documentation for revenue recognition conclusions.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Legal, and Operations for information.
• Perform month-end close activities and related journal entries.
• Prepare reconciliations and support quarterly/yearly reporting.
