The Revenue Accountant is a hands‑on member of Cart’s Revenue Accounting team with primary responsibility for customer cash application, accounts receivable, collections support, reconciliations and related month‑end close activities. This role works within established procedures and policies, escalates complex issues as needed, and partners with Billing, Treasury, Sales, and Customer Service to keep customer accounts accurate and current.
Detail‑oriented and organized, with a consistent focus on accuracy and timely follow‑through. Comfortable performing high‑volume transactional work while investigating exceptions. Able to communicate professionally with customers and internal partners by phone and email. Willing to learn Cart.com’s systems, accounting processes, and revenue‑related policies. Able to follow established procedures, identify issues, and elevate more complex matters appropriately.
1 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, collections, billing, or general accounting. Experience applying customer payments, researching account differences, and reconciling accounts. Experience supporting month‑end close through journal entries, reconciliations, or supporting schedules. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, lookups, filters, and reconciliations. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
