REVELXP is seeking enthusiastic FANgineers to elevate the premium hospitality experience at UNC home games. You will serve as a goodwill ambassador for donors and guests while adhering to game-day policies and delivering top-tier service in premium seating areas.

These hourly roles require flexibility for nights and weekends, with opportunities to support basketball and other events. A strong service mindset and teamwork are essential to create memorable game-day moments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FANgineers play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days – they help engineer a great experience by providing the highest level of hospitality for our fans in the premium seating areas on game day. FANgineers serve as goodwill ambassadors to donors and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas. FANgineers also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Managers, and Athletic Department personnel.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

• Act as game day ambassadors for the Carolina Athletic Hospitality Office and UNC Athletics Department.
• Perform G.O.L.D. Standard Service for all guests, fans, and department staff.
• Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld.
• Monitor entrances, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols.
• Perform pre-, during-, and post-game duties associated with the premium areas (i.e., fulfilling requests, disposing trash, monitoring facility needs and food & beverage needs, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned.

AVAILABILITY and OPPORTUNITIES

• Must be available to work all home football games at Kenan Stadium.
• FANgineers are hourly employees. Hours will range between 6-14 hours per home game week depending on the game schedule and game preparation needs each week.
• FANgineers are expected to work the entire football game day shift, which typically begins 90 minutes before stadium gates open and ends approximately 40 minutes post-game.
• Opportunities will be available to work the day before game days for additional hours.
• Along with football home games, gain the opportunity (with a positive supervisor evaluation) to work additional athletic events, such as basketball, baseball, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds (e.g. event materials, signage)
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
• Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces
• Good visual acuity and attention to detail
