Job summary

Paylocity in Lexington, KY is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support accurate pharmacy inventory through receipts, counts, returns, and storage compliance.

You will process deliveries, perform counts, manage returns, and ensure records and procedures meet safety and regulatory standards. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate basic computer and inventory systems.

Qualifications

Supports accurate pharmacy inventory by processing receipts, cycle/recount activity, returns, storage, and quality controls and by helping ensure medications and supplies are available for production when needed.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior pharmacy, healthcare, warehouse, receiving, inventory, production, or other regulated-environment experience.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, inventory systems, or medication-handling workflows.
• 1–3 years of pharmacy operations, inventory, receiving, warehouse, or comparable experience; pharmacy technician credential if useful to the assignment.
