Job summary

Perfection Hy-Test Company is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, inspection, stocking, and order fulfillment. The role involves unloading products, picking customer orders, palletizing, repacking, and adhering to standard operating procedures.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally and possess forklift certification or be willing to obtain

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with warehouse inventory processes and procedures.
  • Ability to read order pick lists and labelings accurately.
  • Commitment to safety guidelines and housekeeping requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming products and stock per procedures.
  • Pick customer orders following the order process.
  • Palettize orders, wrap and stage per SOPs.
  • Repack orders, relabel cartons per request.
  • Follow safety guidelines and identify defects as needed.

Position may require the use of a pallet jack and other powered industrial equipment to move products within the facility. Scheduled shift is Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and over-time as required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Unload incoming products, and stock product per guidelinesPick customer orders, following customer order processPalettize order, wrap and stage order per standard operating procedures.Repack orders, re-label cartons, etc. per customer requestFollow all safety guidelinesAble to identify product defectsEnsure good housekeeping and safe working conditions.All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIESUnderstanding of inventoryAbility to communicate clearly and conciselyWillingness to learn & adaptReading and writing skillsForklift certificationPhysical ability to stand for long periodsPhysical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionallyTRAINING and EXPERIENCEWarehouse ExperiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (any specific physical attributes or limiting factors to be accounted for):While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing, and using hands to push/pull. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places; fumes, or airborne particles.
