Description

We're seeking a Returns Coordinator to join our Purchasing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day return processing functions to meet the needs for customer and internal returns related to warranty, nonconforming, excess inventory, damaged, and repaired parts. You can also expect to monitor timeliness of part returns and credits in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and nonconforming parts in the NCR database. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for Customer Service and Field Service inquiries regarding returns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Expedite returned material flow, providing 24- to 48-hour processing of all returned goods. Track items to identify reasons for returns. Centralize and make available the status of returned materials. Monitor common cause trend resolutions.
  • Proactively follow-up on returned goods for expedient resolution and disposition of material throughout the RGA cycle.
  • Interact with internal departments and suppliers to resolve issues and gather information related to returned goods and nonconformances.
  • Negotiate and problem-solve with suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain reports, nonconformance records, and summaries for review by relevant departments.
  • Maintain RGA logs and coordinate shipping of products for supplier evaluation.
  • Execute system transactions to manage material flow.

This role is onsite, full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Two- or four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and JDE.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to understand technical documentation such as routings, bills of material, and drawings.
  • Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience or willingness to learn Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and handle obstacles.
  • Curiosity, experimentation, and a mindset of learning and innovation.

Benefits and Compensation:

Starting hourly rate ranges from $19.50 to $25.00, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental insurance, HSA/FSA, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and more. Benefits may vary depending on employment specifics.
