The Aerospace Corporation is the trusted partner to the nation’s space programs, solving the hardest problems with unmatched technical expertise. This opportunity is for students returning to the role you interned in 2026, with paid full-time work for a minimum of 10 weeks this summer.

Start dates include 5/17, 5/24, 6/01, 6/14, and 6/21 with end dates of 8/06, 8/13, 8/20, 8/27, or 9/03. Onsite locations include Colorado Springs, CO and other U.S. sites; security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in relevant fields.
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and to return to degree program afterward.
• 2026 internship at The Aerospace Corporation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Join an interdisciplinary team on ongoing research or technical programs with academic partners.
• Apply standard techniques to carry out prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks.
• Receive training and mentorship during the internship.
