Job summary

HNTB in Charlotte, NC seeks an intern to support construction services teams under close supervision, performing basic tasks aligned with a post-secondary construction curriculum.

You will assist with meeting minutes, tracking logs, attend project meetings, observe on-site material testing, and help review shop drawings and drawings feedback. This internship is for current or former HNTB interns only; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction program.
• Preference for completion of 2 years in a post-secondary construction program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction office tasks including minutes, tracking logs, and department deliverables.
• Attend and observe meetings with internal and external project teams.
• Observe on-site material testing; assist with basic shop drawing review and compliance checks.
• Conduct basic research and data collection.
• Read construction drawings and provide feedback as requested.
• Assist on portions of special projects as directed.
