Job summary

AAA Auto Parts is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy team member to join our Inventory department as a Return and Restocking Associate. You will process returns accurately, restock items, and use multiple computer programs to track inventory and maintain organization.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable using computers, have strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task in a busy environment, and handle occasional lifting as part of inventory duties.

Responsibilities

• Returns Processing: Inspect returned items, note condition changes, document and process returns in software, coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Restocking: Place items in designated locations, update inventory in systems, keep storage areas clean and accessible.
• Tech & Systems: Use multiple programs to manage inventory, returns, and restocking; troubleshoot minor issues and escalate when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Returns Processing:

  • Inspect returned items to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Note any changes in condition to the part before adding it back to inventory.
  • Accurately document and process returns using various software systems.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.

• Restocking:

  • Place items in designated inventory locations to be put back into warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels by updating inventory in computer systems.
  • Ensure storage areas are clean and well-organized for easy accessibility.

• Tech & Systems:

  • Use multiple programs to manage inventory, returns, and restocking processes.
  • Troubleshoot minor system issues and elevate as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is comfortable using computers and navigating multiple programs.
• Has strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Can multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Is physically capable of occasional lifting (up to 70 pounds) and performing activities such as bending, reaching, and walking.
