Air Conditioning Specialist, INC is seeking an HVAC Installer Helper to support lead installers in installing and maintaining HVAC systems. You will help prepare job sites, transport tools, measure ductwork, and assist with ductwork installation while following safety protocols.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, teamwork, and learning to diagnose issues under supervision. Candidates should be ready to work in varied weather and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to learn and attend training sessions as required.
• Adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead HVAC installer with installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Prepare and clean work areas for installation tasks.
• Measure and cut sheet metal or ductwork to precise specifications.
• Support in assembling and installing ductwork and piping systems.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients as needed.
• Help with removal and disposal of old HVAC units and debris.
• Document work performed and report any issues to the lead installer.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
