Job summary

Boulevard Tire Center in Dundee, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Retread Technician to join our Dundee location. The role involves inspecting, buffing, repairing, and building tires for retreading, using machines to ensure proper curing and quality control.

Qualifications

• One year manufacturing and production experience preferred.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and be flexible with duties.
• Reliable attendance and safety record; willingness to learn and advance within the company.

Responsibilities

• Inspect worn tires for faults, cracks, cuts and nail holes to determine retread suitability.
• Operate buffing machine to remove treads according to depth/width specs.
• Measure diameter and cross-section to determine tread width.
• Build rubber treads onto buffed casings for retreading and vulcanization prep.
• Program curing temperature for correct retread processing.
• Inspect cured tires for defects and ensure quality of repair.
