TRAC Intermodal LLC seeks a Production/Retread Lead to efficiently manage production teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while meeting production goals. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities and/or duties required. Other duties may be assigned.
• Able to train (cross training, ongoing training, and new hire training) all retread technicians in each area of the department.
• Complete real time production reporting and ensuring accuracy.
• Ensure team is meeting production KPI’s on a per shift basis.
• Work with other leads and Management to ensure efficient operational transfer between shifts.
• Ensure technicians on shift are keeping up with real time production reporting as maintained through Treadware system.
• Maintain high efficiency and quality control standards specific to the assigned station while meeting production goals.
• Ability to identify when using any hazardous materials and use proper PPE/procedures when handling these materials.
• Maintain and update logs and tracking spreadsheets as needed.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years of retreading experience or a similar level of leadership experience in a production or warehouse setting.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: See Below:
• Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to effectively operate computers and related technology
• Technical aptitude and experience
• Ability to work within a process-oriented team atmosphere
• Knowledge and understanding of Commercial Tires is preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisors
• Ability to work overtime as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Facility based
DIRECT REPORTS: Supervisory Role with Direct Reports
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Please see below:
• Ability to work in a facility that is a non-climate controlled, e.g. hot in the summer months and cold in the winter months
• This position will require the physical ability to walk stairs, climb, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/ move objects
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
