Job summary

Vanguard Retirement Plan Services is seeking a Retirement Plan Services Representative to serve as the voice of Vanguard for plan participants. You will assist with complex service needs, account information, and regulatory questions while handling financial transactions.

As a Retirement Plan Services Representative , you'll serve as the voice of Vanguard and an advocate for our clients, helping build hundreds of financial futures. You'll provide high-quality service to 401(k) plan participants across Institutional Participant Services, supporting a wide range of needs. One client may need help completing a form, while another may be learning about mutual funds for the first time.

Responsibilities

• Support 401(k) plan participants with dynamic and complex service needs.
• Assist clients with account and plan information.
• Help address regulatory and tax-related questions.

Total potential compensation

Total potential compensation for this role is between $71,100 - $73,100 ($52,000 - $54,000 base salary based on Spanish bilingual proficiency, plus up to a one-time $12,500 bonus and eligible partnership and promotional bonuses) within your first year upon achieving performance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for serving others and willingness to learn about the financial services industry.
• Ability to complete the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) exam and obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses within department guidelines.

Vanguard provides fully paid training, coaching, and ongoing support as you learn the role, company, and industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
• Customer-facing and/or inbound phone experience.
• A learner's mentality and interest in building financial acumen.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, preferred.

Please note, this role is hybrid , and you would be expected to work on-site in a Vanguard office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
