Vestwell, a NYC-based fintech, is seeking an Associate to join the Retirement Plan Services Team. You'll support employer plan administration inquiries, changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions.

You will help navigate 401(k) plan complexities for startup and conversion employers, respond to sponsor requests, and contribute to improving processes. This hybrid role offers in-office collaboration in multiple cities and a base salary of $60–70k plus bonus.

Formación

• College degree or equivalent customer service experience.
• 1–3 years retirement industry experience preferred.
• You’re flexible, creative, team-oriented, results-driven, can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organization skills.
• Proven ability to think analytically & operate independently within deadlines.
• Professional experience using internal operational tools (e.g. Jira, Zendesk, Asana, Google Workspace).
• Team mentality and ability to multitask with high volume inquiries.
• Nice to have: retirement certifications (e.g. QKA).

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with complex plan issues such as eligibility, vesting, amendments, mergers & acquisitions, deconversions, year-end testing, and audits.
• Gathers and analyzes information, articulating client requests through detailed scoping.
• Work with internal plan design SMEs to research, assess, and complete client plan design requests.
• Create processes, playbooks, and resources to streamline operations and support expansion.
• Document updates to client accounts in our tooling.
• Conduct post mortems and identify improvements in processes and procedures.
