Job summary

CBIZ is seeking an experienced investment advisory professional to support retirement plan services in Cleveland. The role involves technical investment analysis, market intelligence gathering, and collaboration with vendors, record-keepers, and custodians to ensure plan efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities include assisting with client meetings, presenting investment reviews, performing manager due diligence, and managing fund lists with Morningstar Direct and Envestnet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field is required.
• At least three years in retirement plan investment advisory work.
• Series 65 or equivalent licensing to be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Pursuing CFA/CPFA/CIMA or similar credentials is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on investment questions for servicing clients.
• Establish relationships with vendors, record-keepers, managers, and custodians.
• Gather and maintain market intelligence on products and value propositions.
• Review and modify Investment Policy for Plan Sponsor compliance.
• Provide general client service and problem resolution.
• Prepare agenda items and content for client meetings.
• Assist with presentation of investment reviews to clients.
• Work with service team on investment review action items.
• Perform due diligence and commentaries on investment managers.
• Assess and analyze entries/removals for preferred fund lists.
• Cover asset class for preferred fund list; assist strategic projects.
• Produce reports using Morningstar Direct and Envestnet.
• Manage requests for proposals for plan recordkeepers/vendors.
• Provide investment advice to plan participants with Retirement Plan Education Specialist.
