Idaho Retina Center is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic team in Nampa, Idaho. This full-time position emphasizes exceptional patient care and attention to detail in a fast-paced medical environment.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively with our staff while demonstrating proficiency in EHR and communication tools. Experience in optometry or ophthalmology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Optometry/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must be detail‑oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Must be patient‑care oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review chart notes to confirm treatment plan.
• Triage patient clinical phone calls and direct questions.
• Prepare the patient for intraocular injections.
• Obtain clear and detailed Optical Coherence Tomography images.
• Facilitate effective communication with all staff members.

Skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proficiency in computer applications

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

OSHA and HIPAA compliant

Education
