Job Description

This role involves maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include operating floor cleaning equipment, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adherence to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards is essential. The role may involve cross-training to support various store areas to meet business needs.

• Model excellent customer service practices for internal and external customers
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Maintain all floor care cleanliness standards, including operating scrubbers and buffers
• Keep the entire store clean and organized, including the sales floor, backroom, associate lounge, and restrooms
• Follow all health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end
• Cross-train in other store areas such as backroom and front end
• Support front-end coverage needs as required
• Uphold merchandising and signage standards
• Participate in store recovery activities throughout the day
• Follow operational and loss prevention controls to reduce shrinkage
• Communicate effectively with management and colleagues
• Follow all labor laws and policies regarding breaks and meal periods
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
