Responsibilities
- Retain customers requesting to disconnect or downgrade service by effectively demonstrating product knowledge and value
- Utilize customer billing systems to respond to inquiries and provide historical information to customers
- Educate customers on products and services that best meet their needs, enhancing customer satisfaction
- Handle sales opportunities during customer interactions to positively impact the Optimum brand
- Navigate a fast-paced environment while meeting sales retention targets
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Call center experience required; previous technology and/or cellular sales experience preferred
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, conflict resolution environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills as per company standards
- Proficiency in Windows-based systems, including databases and billing systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sales performance-measured environment
- Familiarity with technology and telecommunications products
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service
