Overview

Retention Marketing Specialist Our high-growth consumer brand is seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist to lead lifecycle strategy and drive long-term customer engagement. This role will focus on reducing churn, increasing loyalty, and maximizing customer lifetime value through data-driven marketing initiatives. Ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn insights into impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute retention strategies across onboarding, engagement, and reactivation
  • Launch and optimize lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels
  • Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to deliver personalized experiences
  • Build and test win-back, loyalty, and referral programs
  • Partner with Product, CX, and Creative teams to improve customer satisfaction and reduce friction
  • Monitor KPIs including churn rate, repeat purchase rate, and LTV
  • Use analytics tools to assess campaign performance and inform future strategy
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to refine messaging and improve conversion
Qualifications
  • 4-6+ years in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing (DTC or subscription-based experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with CRM and automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and customer insights
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns and optimize customer journeys
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation frameworks, and loyalty program design
  • Understanding of subscription economics and customer value metrics
