The Account Management Team is responsible for retaining and growing our fast-growing customer base, consisting of sales returning customers, as well as self sign-on event creators. The team’s main focus is to maximize value from their account book of business by retaining the best-fit customers through contract renewals and upsell opportunities.

THE TEAM

The Account Management Team operates with high velocity outreach, engaging with creators at the right commercial moments throughout their customer journey. This team is responsible for understanding event creators’ business trends to identify opportunities for mutual growth.

THE ROLE

As an Account Manager, you will manage accounts to achieve sales targets, generate new business opportunities, and foster long-term relationships.

YOU WILL
  1. Build and maintain valued relationships with customers to drive business growth and ensure retention.
  2. Articulate and position the value Eventbrite provides for our customers, focusing on proven success and ROI through measurement, reporting, and regular check-ins.
  3. Manage all renewal, contract negotiation, and commercial activities for customers.
  4. Work cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities, resolve issues, and structure contracts that deliver long-term value to both the organizer and the company.
  5. Identify upsell opportunities within the existing account base, prioritizing high-value accounts.
  6. Generate new business opportunities through referrals, delivering leads to the acquisition team.
  7. Provide feedback to leadership and participate in process improvements and optimizations.
  8. Report on competitive threats and market trends to the business.
THE SKILL SET
  1. 3+ years experience in Sales or Customer Success/Account Management, with a focus on revenue growth and contract negotiation.
  2. Experience managing customer renewals and upsells with SaaS products, meeting goals and quotas.
  3. Ability to manage a large book of business effectively.
  4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of tasks and deadlines.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a resourceful problem-solving attitude.
  6. Experience with CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Applications.
BONUS POINTS
  1. Previous experience in the event or ticketing industry.
  2. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  3. Experience with Groove, Gong.
PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range for this role considers various factors including skills, experience, certifications, and organizational needs. The estimated range is $74,300 - $133,800 USD, not adjusted for geographic location. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances. You may also be eligible for incentive programs such as equity, bonuses, and commissions.
