Job summary

Acosta Group in Portland, OR is hiring a Retail Relationship & Execution Specialist to drive on-shelf availability, display execution, and data collection across up to 60 stores. You will build strong store-level relationships and manage product access, promotions, and inventory.

The role emphasizes reliability, a customer-focused owner mindset, and the ability to travel within the territory while meeting client objectives. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and CPG experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred.
• Work/Vendor experience in Walmart preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; degree preferred.
• Physical ability to perform all job functions (standing, bending, lifting, climbing).
• Proven ability to build relationships and overcome obstacles to improve sales.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency across all Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store managers to resolve product access issues (e.g., locked inventory).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store leadership and associates to successfully achieve all goals and objectives.
• Increase the shelf presence of Gillette products and resolve out-of-stock issues.
• Use your professional negotiation skills to overcome obstacles at store level.
• Execute merchandising plans, including product placement and promotional activities.
• Utilize data to identify issues and implement actionable solutions within the territory.
• Travel within the assigned territory to manage store locations, document visits, and report on results.
• Follow all company and client policies while maintaining a professional presence in-store.
