Le Pain Quotidien in Rye, NY is hiring team members to deliver warm hospitality and keep the pastry and beverage counters running smoothly. You will serve guests with a smile, anticipate needs, and handle transactions while stocking displays and maintaining a clean, inviting dining room.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 months of restaurant exposure, familiarity with Toast POS is a plus, and a flexible schedule is preferred to support opening and closing shifts.

Competenze

• 1 to 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare all drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to-go food and pastry.
• Process sales transactions per cash handling policy.
• Maintain pastry displays and knowledge of items.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate as needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
