A leading home furniture retailer is seeking a Retail Warehouse Specialist responsible for inventory control, merchandise preparation for delivery, and ensuring store cleanliness. Ideal candidates should possess customer service skills, the ability to lift significant weights, and demonstrate time management and conflict resolution abilities. Responsible to perform a variety of specific duties, both within the store and assigned store locations, under the supervision of the Store Manager. General duties include: unloading of merchandise trucks, received DC merchandise inventory control, and preparing all merchandise for display. Maintains cleanliness and order in the warehouse at all times. Performs furniture touch ups and repairs. Ensures timely execution of moving merchandise to the sales floor. Insures inside and outside of building as well as surrounding grounds up keep and cleanliness. Maintains close communication with store managers to insure customer service consistent with W.S. Badcock standards.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Works indoors in a controlled environment and in an open warehouse subject to various weather conditions. May be exposed to dust, fumes and airborne particles. May be exposed to mechanical / moving parts and electrical shock.

Retail Warehouse Specialist
