Job summary

Ashley Furniture is hiring a Retail Warehouse Associate in Brandon, FL (moving to Lakeland, FL). You will safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings.

This full-time role offers competitive pay, healthcare benefits, PTO, a 401k plan, and opportunities for advancement. You will work with forklifts and other equipment, support inventory accuracy, and deliver excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Experience in warehouse or retail handling and inventory tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture throughout the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety procedures.
• Inspect and prepare merchandise to Ashley quality standards for pickup or delivery.
• Load/unload, organize, and stage merchandise to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with product prep, minor repairs, and repackaging as needed.
• Support inventory counts and cycle counts with accuracy.
• Provide exemplary customer service in-warehouse and when interacting with customers at homes.

Your Impact on OurRetail Fulfillment Centers:

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, while following all safety procedures.
• Inspect, prepare, andmaintainmerchandise to ensure products meet Ashley quality standards before customer pickup or delivery.
• Load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.

• Physical Capability: Able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture and merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds, withassistancefor heavier items as needed, while performing frequent physical activity throughout the workday.
