Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC is hiring a Retail Warehouse Associate to join our fulfillment team. You will safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture for customer pickup or delivery, while upholding Ashley quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance for heavier items.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, furniture handling, inventory, assembly, material handling, or powered industrial equipment preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, dollies) following safety procedures.
• Inspect, prepare, and maintain merchandise to Ashley quality standards before pickup or delivery.
• Load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient operations and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with product preparation, minor repairs, and repackaging to ensure customer-ready merchandise.
• Support inventory management activities, including merchandise tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service by creating positive experiences for customers in the warehouse and during delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and complete required documentation on time.

• Physical Capability: Able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture and merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance for heavier items as needed, while performing frequent physical activity throughout the workday.
