Tillamook County Creamery Association is seeking a Retail Warehouse Assistant Manager in Tillamook, OR to uphold quality standards and drive efficient daily operations. You will oversee receiving, fulfillment, and inventory accuracy while collaborating with retail and ecommerce teams.
Success requires 2+ years in retail warehouse roles, strong leadership, and familiarity with NCR Counterpoint. This role involves forklift operation and coordinating with multiple departments to meet goals.
The Retail Warehouse Assistant Manager contributes to the success of day-to-day operations (typically Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend support) by upholding Tillamook’s brand excellence and operational standards. This role extends operational oversight through remote support, reinforcing consistency, and best practices across warehouse functions.
This position oversees the receiving and fulfillment operation for a diverse inventory of over 500 SKUs, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and inventory control. It also builds and maintains strong vendor relationships by proactively addressing discrepancies and driving resolution, contributing directly to Direct Commerce’s multimillion-dollar revenue performance through rigorous product quality control and timely issue resolution.
In partnership with the Retail Manager and Retail Buying teams, this role co‑develops and refines training programs to build team capability and ensure process standardization. Additionally, this role focuses on optimizing team focus and drives execution against key operational goals. The Retail Warehouse Assistant Manager models and reinforces Tillamook’s Shared Values, performance expectations, and behavior standards.
Financial and operational integrity are key components of this role, including the accurate processing of refunds, credits, and returns in alignment with company standards.

Collaborating with the E‑Commerce channel owner to align on order fulfillment, weekly shipment planning, and monthly inventory reconciliation, ensuring seamless integration between retail and e‑commerce operations.
E‑comm weekly pick sheet creation and submission.
Partnering with internal teams to plan and execute holiday, summer and marketing activations, ensuring product readiness, inventory alignment, and operational execution.
Unload incoming freight from trucks using a forklift, verify quantities, pricing, and freight charges, matching a packing slip, invoice, and/or purchase order.
Send completed receiving paperwork to accounts payable, keep accurate files, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization for all external purchase orders.
Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable). Approve and code invoices for payment in D365.
Maintain point of sale item database. This includes but is not limited to counts, costs, retail pricing, category, and other relevant information as directed by the Retail Buyers.
Manage claims with vendors for credits, refunds on shortages, or damaged goods. Keep all stakeholders informed of the communication and order status.
Oversee pulling and delivery of products to all Direct Commerce departments including but not limited to Creamery, PDX, Guest Experience, E‑commerce, and Boardman. Manage the flow of freight in a FIFO manner.
Assist with inventories by Vendor or Category on a continuous schedule, and annual physical inventory.
Other duties as needed and assigned.
Supports the Creamery as a people leader with managing direct report positions including permanent and seasonal hires. Direct report(s) helps support DTC channels identifying inventory count accuracy, FIFO of perishable products when storing and organizing storage/freezer/cooler areas, in/out receiving descriptions matching invoices, auditing of inventory on hand, and other duties as needed and assigned.
Scheduling and payroll of all direct reports. Coordinate the daily or monthly assignments of direct reports to ensure all necessary work is performed up to standard. Provide regular feedback and evaluations for direct reports.
Work with L&D / P&C teams for recruiting, hiring and training new hires. Responsibilities also include supporting direct reports with uniforms, meals, property tours, orientation trainings, and basic employee onboarding with systems like 7Shifts and UKG.
Maintain attendance records for direct reports. Assist in documentation of violations to the time and attendance policy or other TCCA policies as outlined in the employee handbook or training manuals.
Ensure staff is a positive representation of the Creamery by following Creamery policies, health and safety practices, and all service standards associated with department/position. Enforce company policies and guidelines, including ensuring all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed. This can include, but not limited to, OSHA/Safety documentation, OLCC permits, Food Handling permits, equipment usage certifications, attendance policy records.
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years’ experience in retail receiving or retail warehouse position required.
2+ years knowledge of retail receiving software required (NCR Counterpoint preferred).
2+ years of training and leading retail warehouse associates preferred.
Knowledge and implementation of SQF requirements preferred.
Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, One Drive, Teams and SharePoint.
Forklift Certification or ability to get certified.
TCCA Pallet jack certification required.

Warehouse: Can be noisy and crowded. The building is temperature controlled and well lit. Requires standing entire shift, walking on sales floor and climbing ladders in storeroom. Duties may include repetitive motion of hands and lifting to 40 pounds.
