Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Utilities Clerk for Store 023 Houston Mesa, located at 9419 Mesa Dr., Houston, TX 77028. You will support store operations, assist in the Produce Dept, and help customers on the floor.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety, bagging groceries, managing carts, price checks, and supporting check stand maintenance. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. Tasks include lifting up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs; frequently 45 lbs; occasionally 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed and carry out groceries when requested.
• Ensure the store is clean and safe at all times.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts; run price checks; assist with go-backs; assist with check stand upkeep; remove waste from the parking area.
• Perform physical functions such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and meet visual and auditory requirements.
