Description

Glen Raven is recruiting for a Retail Training Associate to enhance the connection Sunbrella has with indoor and outdoor retailers. With the growing number of retailers carrying Sunbrella branded fabrics, this role aims to create a stronger retail presence to educate and expand brand awareness.

This is a remote role based out of the South Florida Area, with travel requirements of 50-60%.

Responsibilities

• Manage retailer relationships within the territory, developing a call cycle to build relationships and ensure consistent service.
• Provide training and merchandising assistance to retailers, acting as a compelling ambassador for the brand.
• Collaborate with Retail Development and Training Manager to initiate training seminars.
• Analyze competitors and retail environment to identify areas for improvement and opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between customer rep groups, retailers, and Sunbrella.
• Assist in analyzing data and developing action plans to grow business.
• Manage fabric sampling, order servicing, marketing tools, and sales for the outdoor/indoor customer base.
• Contribute to marketing and sales strategies to grow the residential retail sector.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent education and training.
• 2-3 years of marketing or related experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative thinking ability.
• Effective training skills.
