• Wheel balancing and alignments.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and components as needed.
• Perform test drives and make necessary system adjustments.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Keep current with industry best practices and technologies through ongoing training.

McCarthy Tire Service is one of the largest, most respected tire service companies in the industry. We’ve been keeping fleets and families rolling safely since 1926. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Retail Tire Technician to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on passenger and light truck tires.

Conduct inspections and diagnostic checks on vehicles.

Complete preventive maintenance tasks including:

Oil changes, tire rotations and installations

Engine tune-ups and filter replacements

Wheel balancing and alignments

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues.

Replace worn or damaged parts and components as needed.

Perform test drives and make necessary system adjustments.

Ensure compliance with state safety and emission standards.

Maintain accurate service and repair records.

Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on shop equipment.

Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

Keep current with industry best practices and technologies through ongoing training.

Requirements:
