Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a friendly Retail Associate to provide excellent customer service, process donations, and help maintain an organized store. Part-time position with a 25-hour week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, handling cash, stocking and pricing donated goods, and assisting donors. Training provided and opportunities to support community programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service on the sales floor and donation area.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale system, complete transactions, and manage cash drawer.
• Assist donors with donations and provide receipts per center policy.
• Sort, price, and prepare donated merchandise for sale and eCommerce as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organized store areas and assist with receiving and loading donations.
