Cardinal Health in Orange Area Pharmacy is seeking a Technician II, Retail Pharmacy to support medication preparation and delivery, working closely with pharmacists to ensure safe dispensing and patient care.

This role develops relationships with patients in the communities we serve, assisting pharmacists in accurate prescription preparation and delivery, with hours that align with the pharmacy schedule.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Retail pharmacy technician related experience preferred
• May require vendor credentialing

What Retail Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.

Retail Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications to the general public, in accordance with legal, ethical and professional guidelines; may also consult with and advise patients and physicians regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications.

Job Summary

The role of the Technician II, Retail Pharmacy plays an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities. This position is located at Orange Area Pharmacy

Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8am-6:30pm Friday: 8am-5pm

Anticipated hourly range

$17.10 per hour - $21.96 per hour
