Retail Team Member / New Store Setup Team (AM shift)

Join us as a Retail Team Member / New Store Setup Team (AM shift) at Michaels Stores.

Position Details

Location: Hermitage, PA

Responsibilities include delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping and locating products, ensuring a fast checkout, and completing truck unloading and merchandise duties. You will also maintain store recovery standards, support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS, participate in merchandise recovery, and support safety and shrink programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
2. Provide efficient checkout experience and handle cash transactions
3. Engage customers with Rewards and Credit Card programs
4. Educate about VOC surveys
5. Assist with BOPIS and SFS processes
6. Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
7. Maintain store recovery and merchandise standards
8. Support safety and shrink initiatives
9. Adhere to SOPs and company policies
10. Interact respectfully with customers and team members
11. Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Retail and customer service experience preferred

Physical and Work Environment

• Stand for long periods, move throughout the store, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks
• Work includes nights, weekends, and early mornings
• Climate-controlled areas with some outdoor work and stockroom environments
