Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and teammates, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, and may involve merchandising, stocking, and basic computer tasks.

Ideal candidates may have retail or farming/pet knowledge and a high school diploma (preferred).

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Greet the Customer and uncover needs & wants.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service and assist with product solutions.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions per cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and maintain merchandising standards.
• Perform duties such as stocking, price changes, and general cleanup to ensure a clean store.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds and maintain poultry holding areas.
