Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks to deliver Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, handling the cash register, stocking, and keeping the store safe and clean. Experience not required; high school diploma preferred, strong communication and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine or welding knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma preferred, but not required; reading, writing and counting accurately required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; basic computer skills; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs & wants.
• Recommend product solutions and upsell where appropriate.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing changes, and stock recovery.
• Must be able to perform duties with safety and efficiency, including loading purchases.
