Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Mount Airy, NC is seeking Team Members to provide exceptional customer service and support selling initiatives. You will help with merchandise, operate cash registers, assist customers with loading purchases, and maintain a safe, clean store environment that reflects our Legendary Customer Experience.

The role may include varied shifts, weekend work, and compliance with safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills; Basic computer skills; Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to deliver Legendary Customer Experience.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions per company procedures.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, and daily store operations.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper care of birds and poultry as required.
