Job summary

Rosemont Market & Bakery X in Maine is seeking a friendly Retail Team Member to join our local institution built on fresh, local foods and real relationships. If you love food, people, and community, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll greet customers, help them find what they need with thoughtful recommendations, ring up purchases, stock displays, and assist in the deli as needed. This is an in-person role with a collaborative, supportive team and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service instincts.
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback.
• Curiosity about local, organic, or specialty foods; experience in food service or retail is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Depending on the shift and department (grocery, deli, produce, bakery, or prepared foods), you'll:

• Greet customers and help them find what they need - with real recommendations, not a script
• Ring up purchases and handle payment accurately and efficiently
• Stock shelves, displays, and cases so our food always looks its best
• Prepare and serve items in the deli - slicing, weighing, and wrapping to order
• Keep things clean, organized, and safe for customers and teammates alike

The Details

This is an in-person role at one of our Rosemont Market retail locations. Shifts involve being on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs., and staying active throughout - but you'll be doing it surrounded by great food and good people.
