Job summary

Swedish Match (PMI U.S.) is seeking a Retail Team Manager to lead sales and execution within an assigned territory.

This player-coach role combines team leadership with direct account management to drive distribution, merchandising, promotions, and customer growth across Peoria, IL.

You will coach a team of sales reps, analyze market data, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet regional targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in retail sales, wholesale grocery, route sales, or related fields.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, planning, organizational and team management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Salesforce, syndicated data, and sales analytics tools.
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional objectives.

This player-coach role combines team leadership with direct account management, driving retail sales, distribution, merchandising, promotional execution, and customer growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional business objectives.
• Manage assigned retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic business plans.
• Drive product distribution, merchandising excellence, promotional execution, and product freshness standards.
• Analyze market, sales, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.

Compensation
