Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, founded in 1916, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in Ohio. Using our retail store network, we generate revenue to support individuals with disabilities and local homeless veterans.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Retail Store Manager with daily store operations
• Ensure compliance with policies, including theft reporting and illegal activities
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate unresolved issues to the manager
• Supervise and train retail associates, providing coaching and corrective feedback
• Recommend disciplinary actions to management
• Monitor sales transactions and ensure proper procedures
• Handle escalated customer issues
• Inspect pricing and quality of production
• Ensure production goals are met by the team

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Train and delegate work to Donation Attendants, Merchandise Processors, and Sales Associates
• Preferred: at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, and climbing
• Support flexible scheduling for store operations
• Effective communication skills in English

Physical Requirements:

• Stand or sit for extended periods
• Bend, twist, lift, and carry up to 35 pounds
• Work in a moderate noise environment
• Work in confined spaces
• Regular attendance as required
